The singles cruise departs

From Barcelona, we are leaving on the Royal Caribbean's Brilliance of the Seas cruise ship. Boarding stops at 5:30 pm, so make sure to be there early enough to get on board, OK? Once you've made yourself at home in your cabin and we've departed, our staff in the ship will gather all of our group to provide you with some guidelines and recommendations. Once that's over the cruise is yours!

Some great things about this singles cruise ship

The Brilliance of the Seas is a large and beautiful ship, one of the few that has two promenades. Royal Caribbean considers this cruise of the Radiance class, which means the ship was especially designed to provide every visitor a magnificent view of the ocean along with everything they might need to have fun.

The Brilliance of the Seas has many attractions. If you're adventurous, you could try the climbing wall. Looking for some court action? Basketball and volleyball courts are available. Pool tables are also there if you want to rack'em up... not to mention plenty of swimming pools.

On this singles cruise ship the Solarium is elegantly decorated in Hindi style so don't miss it. After spending a while under the sun, the next recommendation is heading to the spa. Later, enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink at the Colony Club. In the evening roll your lucky number at Casino Royale.

The itinerary

As for the voyage, taking into account this singles cruise is leaving from Barcelona to Cannes, Livorno, Rome, Naples, Venice, Croatia and Greece, there is plenty to see and learn about.

Barcelona, for instance, is famous for its architecture. Antonio Gaudi left his mark on this city, and the Barcelona soccer club is one of the best in the world, so... why not reserve an extra day to go for a walk or go to the stadium? Picasso museum? Sure! Maybe I’ll see the original of the copy I have in my living room.

Cannes is quite renown for its film festival, but that's just one of the attractions this French city. When in Cannes, some say the three musts are La Croisette, La Souquet and the Castre museum. As a matter of fact, la Croisette is a beautiful promenade full of palms and surrounded by buildings of a different architecture. La Souquet is the old-Cannes town remains, so it's worth taking a look. Lastly, Musée de la Castre is a castle of feudal times.

Livorno is a common stop before going to Florence, also known as the capital of Renaissance. Besides its beautiful architecture, the usual things you'll hear you must see in the city include the History museum and the Botanic garden. Back in Livorno, a walk around Piazza de la Republica is not a bad idea either.

Rome: The eternal city and of course the capital of Italy was once the capital of the Roman empire and also rest of the Western world. In addition, it is very close to the Vatican city. As you can imagine, Rome has got plenty of things to see. Where to start? With the Colosseum, of course. People for thousands of years have been marveling at this man-made wonder and now it’s your turn. After that, St. Peter's Basilica is still considered the largest church in the world, and considered by many Catholics to be the burial site of Peter. Take a walk inside the Sistine Chapel too.

Naples has probably the greatest collection of Greek and Roman antiquities in its National Archaeological Museum. Some say this will be the best exhibition of the cruise, but that's something you'll have to see with your own eyes.

Dubronik, in Croatia, will show you what life was like inside a still-walled feudal town. Inside, I recommend taking a walk around the monasteries, the churches and other ancient buildings.

Last but not least, although we are not going to the mainland Greece, Corfu island gives you some of the most classy and comfortable tourist services we will find on our trip. This will be our final stop before heading back to Barcelona.

Our singles cruise will end on July 21st, docked back at Barcelona, and so ends the experience of a lifetime. (until your next cruise)
